Dojo Kun

• All Students must Bow (Rei) before entering the Dojo tatami.
• Students should always Bow (Rei) to any Dan Grade, regardless of age.
• Students must NEVER leave the tatami without Sensei’s Permission
• In the interest of safety, No Jewellery and nails must be kept short, clean and tidy.
• Lessons will start promptly at times stated, students are expected to be punctual.
• Any latecomers, when changed should kneel at the edge of the tatami to be instructed to enter.
• Karate Gi Must be kept clean and tidy, and must be worn on all classes and course (Plain T in Summer, Over Gi Winter)
• Students must attend adequate amount of lessons to be eligible to grade
• Karate must only be used constructively and defensively, and for the benefit of fellow association members.
• A good attitude, respect for others, courtesy, patience, self discipline, self control, determination and loyalty is expected from all students, at all times, regardless of grade.
